Without a mosquito net, in summer it will be impossible to open windows and doors to a balcony or street if you live in a private house, as various insects will fly into the house, bite, cause discomfort and spoil food. Getting rid of them is easy, the main thing is to know how to hang a mosquito net on the door. You can do this on your own.
Applying mesh in an apartment or cottage
In order to get rid of insects in the house, mosquito nets are installed on windows and doors. They can have different mounts and be installed in different ways. Installing a mosquito net on a door or window will help prevent mosquitoes, flies and other intruders from entering your home. The mesh can also be useful for protecting from dust, plant fluff, and other small debris.
Most often, the product has small cells and is stretched onto an aluminum profile sheet. This is the standard option used on most plastic structures. This system has special fasteners, fittings, fasteners and profiles for connection. The design has the following advantages:
- Easy to use.
- No complicated care required, cleaning is easy enough.
- Can be installed and removed quickly.
- Invisible.
- Fully covers a window or doorway, can be used on any type of windows.
- The material has high strength, if necessary, the mesh is quickly removed.
You don't have to think long about how to hang a mosquito net on the door. Manufacturers produce nets of this design with hinges: they are installed as a second door. This allows not only to protect the room from insects, but also to use the doors without removing the mesh every time. The structure is installed very simply by screwing it to the door frame.

What other options are there?
For the door, certain types of mosquito nets should be selected, since they require high strength and durability. The mesh itself can be made from different materials: usually nylon, fiberglass, polyester, cotton are used. Each material has different advantages, has different strength, and the price also varies. Several types of mosquito nets are available for doorways:
- Swing: These are used for standard door systems. The frame of the inner door is made of aluminum, and an insect screen is used instead of the canvas. Such a door is hung on hinges and has special devices that allow it to be fixed open or closed. Such a grid will differ in convenience, reliability, ease of installation, the shape and color can be chosen by the owner of the room.
- On magnets. You don't have to think about how to fix the mosquito net on the door. This system is quite convenient, as it has self-adhesive tape around the edges, which helps to quickly fix the mesh to any surface. There are two parts of the structure with magnets in between. After you have passed, the parts will connect with each other using a magnet.
- Pleated is in the form of a rigid door. The mesh is fixed on a special frame; most often, pleated is in the form of an accordion, the surface of the canvas can be decorated with a variety of patterns that allow you to make an interior decoration out of the door.
- Roll-up models are equipped with an aluminum box, which is located above the door. If necessary, the mesh is pulled out of it and fixed. If it is necessary to remove the mesh, it is released, and it rolls up itself in a box that protects it from dirt and mechanical damage. This type is also easy to install, just screw the finished box with the mesh inside it in the right place. The device has the following advantages: ease of use, mobility, no need to remove the mesh under unsuitable conditions for use (the box will be able to protect the material in winter, will not allow it to collapse under the influence of the sun).

Using systems with additional functions
When deciding how to install a mosquito net on the door, and which model to use, you need to think about whether you need additional functions. For example, if you have small animals, in particular cats, you can protect them from falling out of the window if you install the Anticoshka system. Such a mesh not only has a higher strength, but also features increased rigidity, as it is covered with fiberglass. The cat will not be able to break or squeeze such a mesh, so it will not fall out of the window and tear the device itself with its claws.
Such a grid is installed in the same way as a regular one. It is equipped with fasteners that are screwed to the door frame or window frame, and then the frame with the mesh is inserted into them.

The Anti-Dust net can be installed instead of the usual mosquito net and can be used for both windows and doors. The main task of such a device is to protect the room from dust. The mesh will be useful for allergy sufferers, as it will not allow fluff, dust, pollen to enter the room. The room will become much cleaner, it will be possible to wipe smooth surfaces less often. The setting is the same as for a regular mesh.
This model differs in that its cells are much smaller than standard ones. Their size is only 06-08 mm. The only drawback of the mesh is the difficulty of airing, since it significantly delays air movement. That is why it is recommended to use an opening frame or to use a removable structure.

How to choose the right product for the door?
The mesh should fit snugly and match the size of the doorway, so you need to start selection by measuring the door frame. You can independently assemble a door on hinges from the boards and pull the mesh over it, you can order a better and more accurate option from companies that produce mosquito nets, including those that open for balcony doors. Pay attention to the diameter of the cells: it should not be too large.
Using a standard mosquito net on the door, it is not difficult to hang it yourself; it will be enough just to attach the hinges to the door frame.
