The connection of all components must be reliable and firm. For this purpose, a sealing material is additionally used, which is wound on the connecting elements. The thread is also lubricated with paint together with tow. If there is still tow after screwing in, they still re-paint.

For joint nuts, their installation, there are certain requirements. They are associated with the need for their location on seals made of rubber or paronite. On the reverse side, at the bottom, a plug is exposed, and on top - a Mayevsky tap. A bracket is used to install the batteries. It allows you to really determine the place, relative to the ceiling and window sill, as well as maintain the distance from the wall.

All fastenings must be carried out according to the previously made markings. The bracket nuts are tightened after attaching the radiator. All that remains is to bleed the air, for which the installed Mayevsky crane is used. Even then, the system must not be put into operation immediately. Otherwise, such a replacement of the heating battery in the apartment with your own hands will lead to a leak.

Testing is carried out initially with air, and then with water. True, in such a situation, you will most often have to use additional and expensive equipment. To avoid this, it is better to seek help from specialists who will complete everything within the established time frame and with high quality.

Riser launch

At the end of the work, it remains only to put the riser into operation. The cap is pre-screwed onto the reel. The entire system is filled with coolant. But even here there are some nuances that you should pay attention to when starting the heating system after replacing all components.

• There may be cases of screw valves, it is necessary to ensure that the water flows in the direction in which the arrow on the body is directed. The consequence of non-observance of such a rule is the separation of the valve.
• Initially, one valve opens, wait a while until the coolant partially fills the system. This is done to create even pressure, both in the riser and in the spill. When the water noise disappears, all other valves in the system are fully opened.

Replacing heating in an apartment with your own hands can be done during the heating season. Here, after the completion of the work, air is first released on the upper floor.
