Ventilation, in this case, is a constant controlled process of replacing polluted indoor air with fresh outdoor air. The tasks of simple ventilation include not only removing odors and carbon dioxide, but also creating a normal room humidity regime, removing excess moisture, such as ventilation in a bathroom.
Natural, simple ventilation in our homes was provided by the supply of fresh air through the cracks in the window openings. However, the tightness of plastic windows is very high, when they are closed, then air access is limited to a minimum. High tightness is undoubtedly a positive quality, but in the absence of ventilation, moisture that does not find an outlet settles on the surface of the slopes and glass units. In apartments with a large number of tenants or during finishing work, moisture settles most intensively.
The solutions to this problem can be the following:
1) Ventilation of the apartment with the help of opening transoms and window vents.
2) Slot ventilation, which takes place through the casements of windows that open with the formation of a small gap (5-6 mm).
3) Ventilation with the help of various air inlets installed between the sash and the glass unit or built directly into the structure of the window profiles.
4) Ventilation by means of adjustable supply valves installed outside the window opening, in the outer walls.
