Choosing the right lighting for your living space will not only keep your eyes healthy, but also add flavor to the familiar interior. Your room will be considered well lit only if there is a 20 W lamp per square meter of area. But nevertheless, you should not literally understand these words and not one step away from these indicators, because in your house there is a special purpose for each of its zones. It turns out that the lighting should be appropriate for each room.

Which light is better to install?

For the largest room in the house, it is advisable to use chandeliers in which the light sources are fully open. Modern LED chandeliers will fit perfectly into the interior. Frosted lamps are perfect for overhead lighting, as their tonality will be the most optimal and pleasing to the eye. In floor lamps, built-in lamps and wall sconces, you can use low-power incandescent or LED lamps.

The main thing I want to say is, no matter how good modern LED lamps are, they have a hertz oscillation that affects the eyes

The lamp you use on your desktop should be at least 60 watts. A halogen lamp can be placed above the workplace, which is perfect as an overhead light. Such a device should be equipped with a light intensity regulator - a dimmer that will allow you to control the lighting depending on eye fatigue. Fluorescent lamps with the marking "840" are also suitable for the study. Just do not forget that when working with a table lamp, the overhead light must always be on. In this case, the load on the eyes will not be so great.

The presence of bright lighting in the interior of the bedroom is not necessary at all. A much better solution to ensure proper rest is soft, diffused and dim light. The bedside area can be illuminated using LED strips, the power of which is no more than 25 watts. If you want to create a romantic setting in the bedroom, then you can use a flicker lamp or a lamp with a lampshade for this. It should be clarified that a flicker is a lamp that simulates a burning candle flame. It gives a little light, and from a great distance you will not be able to distinguish its "flickering" from a real burning flame. In order to find out how many lamps and what power you need, use the online room illumination calculator.

Now you know what kind of light is better to install in your rooms. And it is better to approach the choice of lighting in an apartment more scrupulously, because the general feelings when in the room depend on it. And if you only have everything planned and you want to make a suspended ceiling from plasterboard, then this is a great opportunity to play with imagination and light.
