4. Recheck the voltage, making sure that there is no voltage from each wire, remove some of the insulation and spread the cleaned ends to the sides to prevent them from accidentally shorting.
5. It is necessary to remove the insulation by at least 3-5 millimeters.

The initial preparation of the wires is completed, now you can go directly to the connection, but before that you need to determine which wires are phase and which are zero.

Determination of voltage in wires

Now determine which wire is "neutral" and which are phase. To do this, you need to do the following steps:

1. Turn on the electricity in the room again, as well as the switch in the room.
2. In turn, touch the indicator to the ends of the wires. A lit indicator will indicate "phase", the absence of a light bulb indicates that you have found a neutral wire.

3. Mark "neutral" with a piece of electrical tape to avoid losing it.

1. Phase are indicated by standards in black or brown.
2. The neutral wire is blue.

5. If the other half of the lamps light up, this indicates that you have found the second phase terminal. The wire that remained in the socket during the operation will be "zero".
6. If the second half does not light up, then the wire that remains untouched will be zero.

Now there are only a few steps left, namely, to hang the chandelier and connect the wires.

1. Hang the chandelier carefully on the hook.
2. Connect the "neutral" wire of the chandelier to the same end of the electrical network on the ceiling.

System check
