Armobitep is a roll roofing and waterproofing material, the basis of which is fiberglass. It is made on the basis of fiberglass mesh, glass-canvas or fiberglass due to the double-sided application of a polymer-bitumen binder (rubber, bitumen, industrial oil). The protective layer can be mineral double-sided or coarse-grained one-sided. Armobitep is produced by the industry in the form of two grades, such as ABSK and ABSM (roll area - Yum 2, its width - 960 and 1000 mm). The purpose of the material of the first grade is the construction of the upper layer of the roof, the second - of the lower layers.
Modern durable samples are constantly replenishing the range of roll roofing materials. Currently, ekar-bit, monobitep, foilgobitep and the like are widely used.
Armobitep is a resilient bituminous strip shingles reinforced with fiberglass and coated with mineral granulant. This material is the best suited for covering roofs with complex configurations. Its service life is at least 20 years.
Soft tiles are thin tiles of rectangular or hexagonal shape. In their manufacture, bitumen is first applied to the fiberglass base, and then a mineral powder.
The color range of soft tiles is extremely diverse. This roll material is 1 m long, 300-350 mm wide, and 3-4 mm thick. The technique for working with it is as follows: first, it is laid on a solid flooring, and then fixed with a self-adhesive layer and nails. This layer accounts for 50-60% of the total area. The self-adhesive surface of rectangular tiles is slightly larger compared to hexagonal tiles.
When installing a roof made of soft tiles, it is imperative to lay a waterproofing layer of roll material.
